On July 20, 2026, the Board of Directors of the Refugio Groundwater Conservation District 1) convened and held open the rulemaking hearing regarding the "2026 Proposed Rules of the District", 2) proposed revisions to the "2026 Proposed Rules of the District" as the "2026 Proposed Rules of the District - Version 20260720", and 3) instructed staff to accept, publish, and prepare the necessary notices for the Board to consider, on October 19, 2026, any new recommendations to revise the Rules of the District.

Staff will publish and prepare the necessary notices for the proposed and recommended revisions to the Rules of the District received by August 24, 2026, for consideration by the Board of Directors at the meeting scheduled for  October 19, 2026.
